Individual and Family

Individual and Family

Options for both On and Off Exchange

Open Enrollment begins November 1st and ends on January 15th (However, You'll want to enroll by December 15th if you want a January 1st effective date). We ask that clients book an appointment either by phone or through our website here. This allows us to get you on our schedule for Open Enrollment and makes sure we can get you in before the deadline.

On Exchange vs Off Exchange

On exchange means we are going onto the Federal exchange to apply. This does a few things but the most important part is to see if you'll have a tax credit to help with premiums, and if you qualify for one of the cost sharing plans.

Off exchange means we won't even bother looking at those cost saving options if you think you won't qualify.

Not sure if you'll qualify? We can help with that too.

These are the current carriers in Georgia who carry plans for the Individual and Family market. The link above will allow you to apply to any of them ON exchange. However, if you want to apply off exchange, the images below will link you to the carriers website. If it circles back to HealthSherpa it means the carrier only offers coverage through the exchange and does not allow direct submissions.
